Senator Cherielynn Westrich, originally from Missouri, is a car builder and small business owner in Ottumwa, manufacturing hydraulic clutch pedal kits.
She volunteers for the Heartland Humane Society and is a member of the Ottumwa Symphony Orchestra board, a member of the Midwest Ford Show board, a Friend of the National Rifle Association, and a member of the Izaak Walton League.
Before being elected to the Iowa Senate, Senator Westrich was elected to the Iowa House serving District 81 in 2020.
